Seeding and other things

It is amazing how time flies. It is fall. The Erosion Control permit requires that seeding be in place by September 15 and so we got done. Despite all the rain, (more than normal), we leveled the yard, spread seed, and mulched with local straw from a farmer we know.

It is nice to see the outside of the house wrapping up. Most of the basic landscape work is done. We can get through winter this way and then work more on plantings for the gardens in the spring.

The furniture truck arrived and so we have stuff stacked everywhere. All my tools and shop supplies came with it. So it is a big help to have the shop somewhat set up.

Ann and I laid the vinyl floors in the bathrooms and laundry, and have been painting, and doing some electrical work. Others have been hanging doors, plumbing, installing heating equipment, etc.  Progress everyday.

    Richard,
This is amazing! Thanks for letting us be witnesses to this work. My father had done similar work in and around our city, including upgrading my childhood home, before his health began to decline. Your work brings fond memories!
